2nd Annual Celebrity Chef Showdown

As special guests of the Brakeman Foundation, our Executive Director, Janice Curtis, and our Fund Development Manager, Stephanie Power, attended the 2nd Annual Celebrity Chef Showdown on January 28th.

The head chefs from the Brakemen Foundation and Calgary Petroleum Club went head-to-head in a live cooking competition!

It was an exciting evening filled with Stampede enthusiasts, great food, and a live auction. Premiere Rachel Notley was there to help kick-off the event. Janice and Stephanie had a brief opportunity to show their support for the upcoming school lunch program which the NDP government plans to implement during their time as our provinces leaders.

In partnership with The Brakeman Foundation, Calgary Meals on Wheels is part of a new initiative called “Zero Hungry Kids”, which will launch later in 2016
