2015 Volunteer Awards Luncheon

As we celebrate our 50th year of service, today we also celebrated the volunteers who make our mission possible.

Volunteer time and talent built the foundation of our organization and continue to carry our mission forward each year.

Hosted at the Crossroads Community Hall, the 2015 Annual Volunteer Award and Appreciation Luncheon was preceded by the well-attended Annual General Meeting. The luncheon featured complimentary cappuccinos from Rosso Coffee, a delicious lunch spread, and of course awards for our deserving volunteers.

We honoured volunteers who reached important milestones, including a special 50th Anniversary gift mug for volunteers who have been with us for 25 years or more! In addition, we highlighted exemplary contributions from several volunteers with these awards:

  • Rookie of the Year: Cindy Royer & Becky Plunkard

  • Outstanding Volunteer Award: Chris Ratcliff, Ben Gross, Stewart De Roos, Cen & Tess Marcelo, Willie Ter Berg, Rob Robertson

  • Patricia Bourne Memorial Award: Anne Pawelek

  • Bill Girling Heart Award: Mary Boser

We are always humbled by the dedication and selflessness of our volunteers.
