2015 Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

We found a time machine and went back to 1965 to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with our amazing volunteers at the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon.

Music by Vocal Vortex, Elvis and Marilyn impersonators, photo archives, and staff decked out in 60’s fashion set the tone for a fun afternoon.

The traditional turkey feast was a hit, as was the delicious birthday cake.

And special guest, CBC Radio personality, Angela Knight recapped our 50 years of service with fun trivia and a historical review of our journey as an organization.

Hosted at the Shepard Community Centre, it was a wonderful celebration of our organization and our wonderful volunteers. A big thank you to our volunteers. Cheers to another 50 years!
