Our Chef and production team have been busy as elves preparing a wonderful assortment of Holiday meals. Clients will enjoy traditional favourites like shortbread, gingerbread and Christmas pudding with rum sauce, along with chicken cordon bleu and, of course, the Christmas favorite - roast turkey!

Since Thanksgiving, our chef and production team have roasted and carved over 300 turkeys creating around 5000 meals for our clients to enjoy.

Did you know? Turkey is not only delicious – it’s nutritious too! It is a lean, high-quality protein food and a good dietary source of iron, zinc, B12 and niacin (vitamin B3), phosphorous and potassium; all working to support our overall health.

Now for the question on everyone’s mind - does eating turkey make you drowsy? The answer is no! This is a myth. Tryptophan, an amino acid, is naturally present in small amounts in all protein-rich foods, like turkey, eggs and milk. It can act like a mild sleep-inducing agent, however, the small amounts found in turkey would not have much of an effect. Your drowsy feeling is more likely due to consuming a larger meal, with the possible addition of alcohol. If you can, bundle the family up and head outside after a big holiday meal to take in some crisp fresh air and to enjoy a stroll through the neighbourhood – that’s sure help liven everyone up!

Our chef-prepared roast turkey dinner is one of over 70 meal options available on our My Choice Menu.
