Out and About: Korean Health Fair

November 4th was a good day. It was a busy Saturday in Dalhousie as hundreds of people flocked to the northwestern community centre to experience this year’s Korean Health Fair.

The Fair, which had a heavy focus on serving Calgary’s Korean population, was open to everyone. It hosted a variety of different care options that Calgarians could improve their overall health.

Naturally, Calgary Meals on Wheels was invited out to participate.With our focus on proper nutrition creating a happier, healthier, lifestyle Calgary Meals on Wheels fit right in at an expo that’s focus was keeping people healthier longer. The fair ran from 10 am – 3 pm on Saturday, Nov 4 at the Dalhousie Community Centre. We had a great time talking to Calgarians about their needs and how we can help.

If you want to catch Calgary Meals on Wheels at our next major expo we will be attending the Diabetes Awareness Day and Expo on Nov 25th, 2017 at the University of Calgary.
